8 MR standard dump valve

Hi all,

Is the metal dump valve on the 8 MR the same as the EVO 9 dump valve?

Looking at buying one and there's a lad selling a 9 one. Just not sure if it's the same?

Ye that's why I changed mine just to be safe, think there known to leak
