8 flywheel & clutch or 4?

right i have another dilema i have a practicaly new clutch off my 4 engine but the flywheel is alot bigger on the 8 engine i have got and unfortunatly the clutch in the 8 has little life in it.
so do i put the smaller flywheel and clutch of the 4 on the 8 engine?
or do i bite the bullet and buy a new clutch for the 8 flywheel?

You dont need to ask that do ya? The smaller clutch and fly wheel are gonna be shot in no time pal! Bite the bullet stick the bits on here. What are you like eh!

Get a later clutch mate it will be worth it in the end

If the budget is too low to make the change then stick with what you have for the time being. If you can afford to splash out then go for the bigger option. More bite never did any harm did it???

I think there may well be some quality VIII used components in John Boy's lock up if needs be.

I am sure that Jamies New Exedy Organic clutches are at a nice price still. Might be worth a look buddy.

my mechanic just had a measure up and says the 8 flywheel is to thick for my 5 speed box anyway. does that sound right?

ok have been told that 8 flywheel does fit! though i have a feeling my mechanic has probably fitted it all together by now with the 4 one. so will leave it at that if thats the case till its knackered which by the sounds from you guys prob won't be long...lol

p.s jamie could you pm me some prices on 8 flywheel (as the one i have has got a few good scores) and a good organic clutch. so i have an idea on what i'm in for when it goes
