6 into 4

Right the e4 engine has given up the ghost and going down the e6 engine to replace it. What I would like to know is seeing that the e6 engines I have seen come without any ancillery devices would the e4 engine ancilleries go straight onto the 6, eg turbo, power steering and bits like that? Cheers for the advice

Simple answer is yes they will

I would personally change the turbo aswell but it's upto you

The 6 engine will have 560cc injectors in and the 4 will have 510cc, you could swap the injectors but I'd prefer to swap ecu for later mapping

So am I right in saying if he didn't change the ecu it would run fine but the injectors would run at a lower duty ??

You would defiantly benefit from having a later ecu as you could get it mapped

You can pick up an ecu for bout 100 which I'd defo worth the upgrade
