I think would be best to get new bolts as well

its do able but I wouldn't risk it as the manufacturers kept that size for a reason. putting in new bolts is easy ive done it on a celica st185 gt4 :) if u was close would have given u a hand

You can run 5mm spacers on stock studs mate, you could run 10mm but you wouldn't want to track it with 10mm less thred holding the wheels on ;)

For safety I was led to believe you need the nut to go on 7 threads.
Standard Evo nuts wind on loads so wouldn't of thought 5mm would cause a problem :)

Easier putting studs in an evo that a gt4, from my remembers nice of gt4 ownership had +15mm longer front studs to take the st205 calipers and then h&r hub centric spacers on the rear ;) easy enough to push studs out

They will fit fine mate, you can fit 10mm with the stock wheel studs and stock wheel nuts

Just to wake up and old thread.. tested 5mm spacers today and got alot of thead.
(started to count but when i passed 10 It felt useless to keep on..)
Tested 10mm and got just over 7 turns . So 10mm works fine, but wouldnt track it..=)

this was tested with stock studs and nuts.
