3 port boost solenoid noise.

Just fitted and had my 3 port fitted etc etc
All working fine it's just very noisey.

Any revs above 3k rpm can here the solenoid actuating (sounds like a fast loud relay)

It's fitted under the bonnet under the airfilter and I can here it whilst driving inside the car.

Are they normally that loud?

Yep they are normally loud. Has it been mounted with a bit of rubber or bolted directly to the car? If so put a gromet between as this will quieten it down

It's mounted on the original brackets which are solid mounted.
I will mount on rubber mounts instead. I had a sneaky suspicion I would of had too.

Mine does it as well mate! Do as And@fcm says and it deadens the sound and stops that horrible clicking sound!
