Put that youve owned the car for a year and add your dad on the policy, should drop the price :)

i had insurance with admiral when i firsf got my e8 i was 23 and is cost me £2200 that was the cheapest at the time.

then when to E-car when i turned 24 it came down to 1800,

now im 25 and insured the last week with Sky insurance and they are good i live in a not so good area but they did me a deal with 5000 miles a year fully comp 6 years no claim fo £800.

give sky insurance a try they also give discount for club members and evoowners are on the list think its 10-20% discount.

A year. But iv had fast cars since I was 18 which helps. Skylines, evo's Silvia's, Maserati etc. it is part of a multicar policy, but I think it only £50 more if it wasn't. It was half what I paid the year before. But I do live in a go area.

Do you live on the moon for that price? lol

Insurance brokers = Legal conmen

+1

I love it when they claim to have given you the best price possible that is unbeatable and you ring them back to tell them someone else has beaten and they just say 'no problem I'm sure we can better them, I'll call you back in 10 minutes'. They then call back and have knocked a large amount of their best price. I had it earlier in the year with Sky Insurance. :arms:

I'm 23 now and pay £1040 fully comp but only cover about 3-4k a year with 6 years no claims as I passed at 17, also live in a low risk area. That's on an evo 6.

24 yrs old, standard Evo 6 GSR, renewed two months ago at £825 (protected no claims, finally!)
5000 miles per year, I'm the main driver with M&D as named drivers. This is with Admiral.

I've had my E6 for two years with Admiral now though so I'm assuming they take into account my clean record in those two years.
When I first started it was £1,200 and then £1000 and now £825.

Just went on gocompare and its with elephant, £720 without the black box thing the insurance companies want to put in to check how hard you drive the car. 5000miles per year. I was shocked when i first saw it.. Thought it was guna be 2-3k. But ive always owned/insured fast(ish) cars.. Honda civic type R, peugeot 205 gti with turbo/mi 16 conversions.. Maybe they think im a sensible driver ;)
