I'd be up for this depending on dates, iv been twice so far and taking my Evo for the first time on the 20th September 2013 for a long weekend.
I normally go on the euro tunnel after saving tesco vouchers to knock money off its normally £35 return which isn't too bad :)

Good stuff Katie07

Like I said we'd look into meeting you at the ring as you'll be taking a totally different journey! You must spend extra on petrol?

Sorting some out for you Simon :)

That's fine to meet there, even with petrol I think it still works out cheaper for us to go from Calais, we are not very close to hull!

heres one of me driving Dans Fiesta

the train

and our hotel

From where we are its only 450 miles there, to hull its 180 miles and then 210 miles from rotterdam to the ring so thats 390 miles but then theres the cost of the ferry on top that will make it cost a lot more as we are getting our crossing for nothing pretty much and its only 30mins.

if your close to Hull it makes sense but for us southern folk i think the tunnel is the best and easiest way :) and my other half gets sea sick which is another reason why we took the tunnel :D

It's not too far, my evo lives near Doncaster so it's only about 25 min from hull plus the ferry is right laugh! :D

Will be great to have a group of us :)
Will put some pics up of this years trip once we are back, as long as the car is alive still!

My mate took most of the pics on our trip, waiting on him to send them all to me the useless sod

Right so potential problems with a week day visit.

Lack of track time as they are evening sessions 5-7:30pm ish

Through the day there won't be much point in viewing as hardly anything will be going round.

Track closure could result in no laps if its a biggie.

Advantages........ are possibly quiet laps that will result in good fast laps :D

Weekend can just be mental (see my vid, which was strangely quiet for the first half) cars everywhere and accidents causing closure!

I'm now thinking of a trip that starts a day earlier, so we go Wednesday night to get 2 evening sessions and 2 weekend sessions. Just adds another night to the hotel :D

Let me know what you all think.
