At at the end of the thread my filler still says 95 and above and I haven't been swayed to spend the extra 10p a litre every time.

Running to the mlr and see what they think????? That's like playground jumping, go tell the teachers if you want.

Doesn't matter where the car is built only what the car is mapped to as already stated, ie mines a standard map so any fuel, if I map it on v-power its v-power from there on out

get someone to check it for knock on 95 ron and if its fine then happy days, if not then higher ron fuel needed or remap.

FACT!!! NO evos have been sent in crates and assembled in this country, also theres No official data for the 1-4 eg no emission test needed, maybe on a 5, as said ralli-art were the first official uk cars Evo 6, but stiil built in japan and fitted out for the regs in this country, rear fogs an such like....

also using 95 you will be down on power weather mapped or not!!

Car was plugged in ages ago and no probs, like I said still standard map, that pic of the fuel filler is mine so I'll do what it says on the tin and when I get it mapped I may change my mind on the fuel

Your flap says use 98+ super unleaded Craig.
Or optional 95. I suspect if you read the hand book or spoke to Mitsi they would say yes, it will run on 95 if your struggling just to get you home. But you wouldn't want to use it all the time :)

I remember a time when the local import centre first started bringing scoobies and pulsars into the country. Obviously with them being set up to run on jap 100ron fuel the engines didn't like having to settle for our 97ron fuel and they were going pop left right an centre.

Just remember craig, you've had engine trouble before. Wouldn't want you to have it again just for the sake of a few pence. :)

May the Vpower be with you.
Or even better tesco momentum is just as good but you get club card points too which ad up to money of fuel vouchers so that in turn makes the fuel cheaper :):)
