OPT 95 = optional, not preferable.

Plus, no evo is 'born' in this country. They're all made at the same factory in Japan.

But no problem running 95. The fq is adapted for the uk market only

They're built complete in Japan at the Nagoya Plant, imported officially by CCC adapted by Rampage Tuning (owens development with regards to the VIII FQ400) to give them the FQ300/320/340 etc by adding the bolt on bits and the piggy back ECU's/maps then sent through CCC/Extreme to the dealers.

Why do people fight common fact throughout the Evo community, especially ones so wide spread?

Craig - The FQ is NOT adapted to UK 95RON fuel. How do i know? Because Mitsubishi have released press releases regarding this, as well as Rampage have told people on the MLR time after time.

Steveb_evo3 - The 4, like all over 4's and all other evo's were built in japan. They were NEVER an official import and therefore a UK car. The first 'UK' car was the Evo 6, yet still built in Japan, was officially imported by Ralliart (now extreme) in Dudley.

Fact.

If you still don't believe me, how about ringing Extreme in the morning for them to tell you?

I will openly admit that i am no evo expert and have not read the history of the cars. However, it does seem strange that a kit of bits would be shipped from japan to england, made into cars, shipped back to japan and not sold in england.
