Hi guys can a car lose its map if batt is flat for a while cheers

NOPE As my autronics ecu is sitting here on the table with me, and the E8 ecu in the car runs just fine

Lost power, boost ?

Could be a few different things bud

All boost or just a little...have you done any bits on car recently

Fitted clutch it boosts to a bar fine 1.5 bar feels like it gets to 1.5 then shuts down to a bar

have you checked all vacum pipes, hard pipes and silicone joiners around tubby,BOV,intake ?

Sounds like you need to get it checked over. How long does it shut down for ?

Did I read right right u changed the clutch? Did u connect the pipe on the underside of the intake from the solinoid valve

he says its making 1.5bar boost so youd have thought so.

possible that its plugs ?? or maybe the fuel reg pipe ?

Has the map been put to the limit on boost, maxed out or still limited?
You may have previously had clutch slip, so boosting to 1.5. But now no clutch slip, your hitting the limit and its cutting ....
Or a pipe has been damaged or incorrectly fitted. Need to to a boost leak test!!!!

Had no clutch slip clutch broke up it.was mapped in 2007 before i got iy
