oil pressure

what should the evo 5/6 engine oil pressure be.also wheres the best place to attatch a guage to do the reading it wont be a permenant fixture.

the best place to attach the oil pressure guage to is just after the oil filter on the housing, sorry i cant ofhand remember the exact pressure i think it is somewhere in the region of 6-7 bar when cold and 4-5 bar when hot i think

it will depend on the oil a little but normally when cold about 7 bar and when warmed up around 2bar

No worries mate anytime, just be carefull if you do use the feed on the filter housing as it is an Allen grub screw and they are loctited in and if your not carefull it will round off.
