Removing catch cans and auxillary tanks

As per the title is it as simple as it looks to remove my spec-r catch can, coolant tank and power steering fluid tank ?

Im having them polished up so I need to remove them , it looks simple enough like disconnect all hoses and just un bolt them but do I need to do anything to coolant and power steering to stop air getting in to the system ?

Coolant is an expansion tank, not a header tank so just remove it. The Power steering tank, get something to catch the fluid when you release the pipes as it'll go everywhere and if it gets onto the belt, it'll deteriorate quickly and slip.

you wont get nothing out the catch tank as its just a breather

coolant, just tip it out and top it up after

pas fuid as steve said, catch what comes out and clean up, then just top it back up

with the tanks out ill be cleaning up the bay and moving a few vac tubes etc.
Im going to touch up a mark in the engine bay till i can get it sprayed.

Find a new spot to mount my oil catch can for when it comes back all shiny, try and re fit my cold air feed to my filter so its a lil tidier.

Jonny - keep the PS fluid IN the system as much as you can, it will save a LOT of effort trying to get the air out when you re-install it later which is how most pumps end up dying.
