Wheel help...

Can any of you offer me some advise on wheels...

Would like 18's but think wheels and tyres would be too much, where as if I got 17's I could swap my tyres onto the new rims.

What offset do I need to get?
Should I just wait and buy 18's?
Any good stores recommended?

Been thinking Advan RS, Advan RS D, Rota GTR....

in all honesty i think the rotas are a nice wheel, But arent they getn a little played out now,,

Thanks... so to use my tyres I need to get 8" wide rims ideally.

What offset would make my wheels come more level with the body work?

You'd be better off worrying about buy in a dog collar and leash

I'd wait, save up and get some 18x9s and get the wheel in the size that will look best and that you really want, rather than making do with 17's.

You'll only end up buying 18s in the future Could always sell your original wheels with tyres and get some money back

Advans! Ftw rotas r nice but like already pointed out go with 18 it doesn't drive too harsh on em and looks the dogs danglies

Sound advice... Was planning on keeping the standard wheels and tyres (yok Advans with 6-7mm tread) and putting them back on come the day I sell up. Think that a nice set of 18's would still return a good amount second hand.

Dont sell the wheels if u dont want to, just might mean waiting a bit longer for your perfect wheels, there's no rush tho

I'm in a similar boat to you, want to keep the original wheels for re-sale and hoping to get either Advan RS or Rota G-Force wheels by the summer, gives me plenty of time to save up in order to get the perfect wheels to show off the car during the warm summer months Will be well worth the wait

Yes, it's just down to whether you want to pay close to £3,000 for the originals with tyres (Advan RS) or whether u can "make do" with the copies (Rotas) for about £1,600 with tyres basically.

I'm going to see how much I have available when I come to buy a set
