Trackday tyres

What tyres do people use for trackday? slicks ect looking to do a trackday this year just wanted some ideas. dont really want to spend £5-600 on 888 and where them out in one day:whistling:

Yoko ad08 is ment to be really good and alot longer lasting than 888's

Cheers Guys, any thoughts on slicks tyres? they are allot cheaper £150ish for a set.

these are the mutts nuts great hot cold wet dry and i have done 6 trackdays and counting on mine and they still got 4 mm left just rotated them once and swapped front too rear 3 times loads better than 888 :shock:

ps i no where there is a set of 17 slicks if intrested and he still has them also they on rims so he will sell either as job lot or just tyres

the only thing with running slicks is not all track days will allow you to run them, cheap though oh and dont forget to allow them to get up to tempature for a couple laps before chucking a car into a corner
