I have this bar missing on my Evo 7 not sure whats if called? east/west bar
Do i need it?
Has any one got one that will fit my 7 with the bolts?

Anti roll bar or cusco bar I think it's to improve body roll (handling) when cornering

Yes, you're missing an OE brace, but its pretty much useless anyway.

your actually missing 2 bars. some people remove them cos sometime they can foul with most aftermarket 3" downpipes.
i simply packed mine down with some washers on my old vii.

you can buy a cusco 4point underbrace but then to be honest early cars werent fitted with them at all

I took mine off as didn't fit with new downpipe havnt noticed any difference with handling

I know what you chaps are saying about it getting in the way of the exhaust 3inch downpipe. Mine was catching when I went for the 3inch downpipe but I got it adjusted so it doesnt catch, there's not alot of room to adjust it. I think the trick is to either bend the downpipe a little by heating it up or to play around with the decat and downpipe it will be fine when you do either one.

I removed a 4 boint brace from my 4 to fit a 3" downpipe. It does feel more understeery since i removed it. Could just be my imagination though.

So rob why don't you just stick it back on and have it adjusted or bend the downpipe where it catches not a big job mate??

How do you combat understeer. Simple introduce oversteer by getting on the power sooner

Because it catches the flexi on the downpipe so is not so easily adjusted, and stainless isnt so easy to bend to the shape you want. And if i space the bar down it will be scraping the floor a lot.

Thats all well and good, until it just understeers faster. Lol. And we havent all got enough power for more power to be the answer. Lol. I find a firm dab of brakes generally brings the back end around to where i want it though.
