exhaust manifold

Hi all,just woundered what good exhaust manifolds are out there and what sort of price I will be looking at?need one that has better flow than my little stainless one as I'm looking to get closer to the 500bhp mark.will have approx 400quid or less to spend so a second hand one with no cracks will be fine,thanks.

Don't buy cheap rubbish mate as they are made from tin foil and you'll soon get fed up of it cracking

Best to spend good money in this area mate. Full race, jmf and AMS manifolds are recommended. If you can't afford a new one then keep your eye open for a second hand one

The only manifolds to look at are JMF, Fullrace, Race-Tech and Nortech these don't come up that often and very rarely under £450 usually about the £500 mark. What turbo are you running?

EVO 9 atm but will be going bigger once I have the manifold sorted,could strech just to 500 but it would make me Skint

Well as above are the only manifolds to consider, Nortech are up and coming in the Evo world and are probably one of the best you can get over the Race-Tech, Fullrace and JMF, don't be tempted by rubbish you should get one for sub £500.

For 500bhp stock frame see below all have there pro's and con's but all will do the job. The HKS will struggle to make a proper 500bhp but will out spool the rest. I'm going for an S205 and getting it converted to a billet wheel. Aiming for 500/500.

I used to run an S205 on my old Evo. Good turbo apart from the wastgate failure. But it was an older model and this issue was resolved. Sent it off to TT and they re built the whole thing foc and was back on my doorstep in 4 days and that includes the time it took to deliver it to them
