i had a engine rebuilt on my 4 on 2009 with new clutch.
after 1yrs, i started to have a strange noise in my engine.
When the car 1st starts up or(when the engine is cold),NO noise is generated.
After driving awhile, a strange noise is generated.
Its only generated when the car start moving slowly esp in slope, but no problem in high speed driving.
basically, when lifting up the clutch padel half way while the gas padel in half way, or i would say when the car just just start to move slowly, its generated. the noise likes a metal metal friction noise around pulley area. dry pulley noise.
I went to many mechanic, no body know what its up to, i just keep being charge for money.
