got the problem with no boost sorted,it was the actuator.question is will a standard actuator work with a boost controller to give me more boost,i have a greddy profec b unit, when i got the car 1st it would run 1.5 bar,the last few weeks it dropped(which was my actuator giving up i would imagine as it calved)with a new genuine mitsi actuator she wont go over 0.9 bar with the controller turned up to maximum..anybody know about this?

I am a little pushed for time right now so what I suggest is that you give Cossie1 a shout via PM and he will get back to you with what he thinks you should do buddy.

If there is no response from him in the next couple of hours then back to us right here and I will fill you in when I get a chance.

You can find him on my profile page under friends or via the Members list at the top of this page.

Sorry.

Help him out buddy, you know what to advise him, this is kind of your area of expertise. I have a lot on my plate at the moment with not time to go into detailed advice.

There are too many parcels to send out on behalf of John Boy and the system that pre-books with the couriers is down so I have to do every thing manually:mad:

It may well be that Russ has already put him in the right direction.

with it disconnected wind it to the 'half hole method' and pull hard on the last bit to get it to go over.

ooh, and remember to turn the boost controller back down before you try it again otherwise you'll massively overboost.

Spot on Sponners!!!

That is exactly why I suggested you give a hand here.

I knew there would be some illustrative pointers if you got involved:D
