What Engines do Evos pack? Future Build....

Well mostly i do CNC machining of composites

make a lot of carbon fiber stuff,


but also in new unit because of the size will have a special seperated metal working area

we do more chassis stuff than engines, but sometimes we do rebuilds and engine design/speccing, its a bit of everything sometimes

have you ever thought of doing carbon bits for the evo, ie dash, centre consol etc. there was a bloke who did this on the skylineowners forum and he made a packet. made one for himself and then mass produced, if it hasnt been done before, you can charge what you like more or less.

I have to say that the idea of engine rebuilds is what would get me going.

fair enough

i used to do lots of engines, Jet engines and piston

but now i mostly do composites and machining, engine builds are very restrictive in motorsport now

so its more interesting to do chassis work for me

Why is that though? Surely if there is motorsport there is engine rebuilding?! Or is it because engines need to be built to an exact spec which is dull?

I'd like to learn more about chassis and designs' advantages and disadvantages etc.

yeah its pretty dull, you can only build to a certain spec, so you can only do what the rule book says, so they all end up being the same, and most engine specs get frozen for several years especially F1

so there is little change year on year

ah I see, I can understand that, you'd rather get some variety in there and see the differences from the metal you made against that which the other guy made.

Well, I'll definitely take that into consideration, where are you based?
