Problem for upgrading the evo 4 to evo 5

40 = sidewall depth as % of the tyre width

In other words a 215/40 is lower profile than a 215/45. Therefore allowing a lower car...

Best fit on an Evo 4 is 215/40 for a lowered tarmac spec ride. Due to not having as wide arches. If you fit any bigger alot of others have issues with rubbing arches. Regardless of some fitting the bigger spec tyres and having no issues I would stick with only fitting 215/40
