A couple of evo related questions

Well ive been car shopping again today, test drove a new mazda mx-5 with the hard top convertable, Anyhoo as much as it was nice to drive it fealt really really slow after test driving the evo x.

So down to the nitty gritty as my wages are just a joke so I need to see if I can afford to run one or not.

I reakon i'd be going no more than 4-5k miles a year, so petrol will be about £100 a month, nothing to major there. How have you guys & gals found it when going further afield? Trying to find those dreaded high octane pumps..

Tax is a bloody rip-off, insurance is up in the clouds, at £750 atm 6 years no claims, 28yr old. Doubt it would get much lower in a few years time?

How much does it cost to have the tracker on? I need it on to get it down from £1600.

Whats it like on repairs and such cost wise? I really like them flappy paddles but im concerned that owning the evo will be just to expensive on the maintenance.

Anyway any helpful advice would be much appreciated

Mpg depends on model and how you drive I get 18 Mpg on long run.

As for maintaince if u look after it it will look after you but is a specialist car and you have to go to a evo garage as normal garages won't touch it and I'm sure u wouldn't want the lil dogs body tagging around the yard.

As for insurance I would say look around a bit more I only pay 1100 4 years ncb and I'm 25.

Shouldn't be down to a driveway. Dependent on area you live in, job etc. I am 23 with 6ncb and mine is £880
