Evo 4 o2 sensor replacement

What's up my fellow Evo owners,


I'm having an issue with getting terrible fuel economy and my car is so rich idling I cannot pass my ITV. I'm in Spain getting parts is next to impossible. I have been getting most of my items for the Evo shipped from the UK.


Where can I get a new oxygen sensor online? Biggest question is are the Evo 4-9 sensors the same? I'm not sure why it is not throwing any types of codes as well. I hope im not harming much by running it rich like this.

Only harmful over a prolonged period, causing bore wash ...
4-9 are not different except the connector plug, 2 or 4 wire connector. But you will need an evo o2 sensor as I've seen a universal one used and it was crap lol ...
Camskills for new o2 sensor ...

As Above you just cut the 2 pin connector off your old one and solder it on to the new one, leaving the 2 black cables not connected.

Had to do this on mine and noticed a difference.

Thanks for the input fellas...I would definitely prefer an actual Evo o2 sensor. If I have to try a universal it would be a last resort type of deal. I'm assuming all Evos 4-9 usdm, jdm, european, etc are all the same. Thanks alot

They are, but i'm sure when i had a price from my main mitsi dealer it was £300 odd so got the newer one off camskill and been fine ever since.
