hi! the evo is finally mine today! been waiting for ages for it! ive bought it off my dad its a 2004 evo 8 260 running at 320bhp, just gotta take my dad to hampshire to get his new focus RS(380bhp) and when i get back i can take it out for my fist official spin!! exiting times! does this mean i can finally be considered cool?? i know im not MR cool but atleast some form of cool????!

got an MR spoiler and carbon vortex and some other bits and bobs waiting to go on it.

Congrads mate I take it you got the insurance all sorted it was you that was struggling wasn't it. Get some pics up buddy. 380bhp in an rs I know they got some funky chassis that can handle 300 but when a mate of mine had his mapped to 350 it just wouldn't move any quicker you will have to keep us informed of what its like, I rescind the evo will have it :)

So when u gettin the bits put on

finally got time to site down! the focus RS is amazing! the previous owner spent £4000 on performance upgrades right after he'd bought it! it dont half go! ent raced him yet tho lol

i got the insurance sorted for £1700 protected wich i think is a very decent price!

ive put the bits on today, also had a carbon front badge, metal recirc valve(to make it future safe) set of iridium spark plugs as it has never had a new set in 56000 miles. also put new discs and performance friction pads on it earlier in the week.

piccys
before i put all the bits on.

After the bits

Focus RS

hehe he loved the evo so much he kept it for 7 years!! hes not getting it back off me noooo wayyy lol ive just got back from a little drive on my own, ive never had so much fun in a car its insane! that grip is unbelievable!! love getting the rear out a little and letting it snatch back in again on roundabouts, great fun!

im hoping by xmas ill have:
walbro fuel pump
3 port solenoid
map to suit

the exhaust is 3" up to the cat so i just need to make 3" from cat back! and its already got an apexi intake

do you think i could maybe see 360-380 after all this?

yh powdercoat is the way forward much better, and as for carbon mirrors yes!! but im not a fan of the tiny shreck ear ones but its personal taste really. i been lookin at some m3 style ones with the gaps in teh middle and indicators on them

yeah i had my wheels on my last car wet sprayed and its just not as good, the inside of the wheel doesnt get done and eventually u get peeling, powder coat is also thicker wich is also a bonus!

yeah u cant go wrong with M3 mirrors mate, always a winner (aslong as they are not on a 106 or somet lol) i was thinking i would just get the carbon fibre mirror backs that stick over, are they any good? got a carbon fibre wrapped dash piece coming too, got it for £85 :)
