Well done 30 miles in her Saturday night and got her up in the air for a check over. Discovered a small oil leak from the oil return pipe on the underside of the turbo. So changed that for a better one and been out and done another 60 miles tonight to go meet some of the Bristol Evo owners and all is now very well indeed. Drove there and back in convoy with a mate of mine in his normally lower powered evo V and he was more than happy to blow me away for a change as I'm unable to give mine to much of the loud pedal and with only running 1:00bar boost it ain't gonna get me far even if I did try lol :)

I have always been led to believe that if you don't run any boost then the rings won't bed into the bores and then they will glaze over.
This is due to the fact that unlike normal aspirated engine a turbo engine runs much lower compression so you need to run a small amount of boost to help force the rings into the bores like they would do on a normally aspirated engine :)

600 miles under the belt now and final oil change done. Back to running silcolene pro s 10/50.
I've lifted the boost level back to it's normal level and normal power has been restored :)

Gave her a couple gentle squirts and yea, I've missed that 500bhp :):) happy boy again now :):)

Just a trip over to see Antony at indigo-Gt to get him to check the fueling is all ok and to show me what this should read and when.
Something I wish I bought sooner lol

lee you should be looking for about 12.5 on peak torque then tailing off to about 11.7 at the redline, idling and general crusing about 14.7

Yea that's what I thought lol idle is anywhere between 14 and 16 at the mo. Needs smoothing out a little. Gauge does fluctuate alot so hard to pin point exactly what it's doing. While trying to keep eye on the road at same time lol :)
