Nice motor Russ

I never used to be a fan of the older evos.............I think its the weight that makes them more and more apealing now.

Thanks mate,

I never used to like them either (hated the rear end of them for some reason),but over the last 5 years or so, they have grown on me.

As you say the weight of them, is what makes them so great to drive.

The 1 RS weigh's in at 1170kg from the factory, and that is with Aircon fitted.

Serious fabrication, hell of a lot of elbow grease and a severe amount of patience to say the least.

But if I recall correctly, the worlds fastest Evo is an Evo I RS!!!

I took the car to the pod today.

I managed a 12.4 1/4 mile time with a terminal of 106.7mph.

The 60ft time was 1.6746

They also had a handling circuit, I managed a time of 31.76 seconds (my first ever time of doing this),which considering the size of the tyres, how small the brakes are and the fact I had 3/4 tank of fuel isn't bad.

A mate of mine with a striped out Evo 5 GSR lots of trackday and some sprint experience, running 345bhp / 350ftlb, AP's and less fuel managed a 12.1 @ 111mph, 60ft time 1.7211 and 31.69 on the handling circuit.

So with more power this would be an awesome all round car.

However your idea is crazy, couple of reasons why it's not possible:

1) this car is forsale
2) my evo 6 is forsale
3) money
4) I can't weld lol

If you told me that the car was going to be tracked I would have borrowed you my mines ECU for the day. You would have come out on top for sure but that is a very respectable time indeed considering it is standard.
Food for thought I guess!!

I just presumed that they would take pictures of each car from various angles and a couple of the engine bay and then wiki the rest:rolleyes:

Which edition is the feature going to be in???

Thanks mate, but i'm not a fan of mines ecu's anyway, every car i've logged with 1 fitted, has been detting it's tits off.

Think they said it comes out on 1st July.

Sponners buddy, A Scooby requires towing generally around the time you put your foot down any way;)

They can't take the beating that the Ebolution can!!!
