So been to look at a few cars recently to take the place of the CTR for work, looked at a few accords, audis, lexus is200's and a scoob or three ;)

Went to look at a 2000 plate impreza today and .......well I er....erm....BOUGHT IT !!:blush:

first opinions for a 11 year old car it goes alright being 212bhp and AWD, the drive home was actually good fun not as fun as the Evo but good fun none the less and as its an old dog I get to go sideways alot from home to warrington LOL

Without being hated I actually dont mind it one bit and for a car over a decade old its a hoot !!!

Just needs a polish and a wash now, then ill post up photos for all to laugh and point at :D

Now where can I get a sticker that says "im saving up for an Evo" or " My other cars a Evo " or even " I'd rather be driving my Evo" LOL

its done 63k mate and engine and underneath is spotless :) theres a little bubbling on rear arches, but been looking on a few "bandit country" forums and parts are dirt cheap !!! even whole rear panels !

TBH for what I paid im more than happy if after a year it goes POP mate.

If it dont im going to strip and track it , then when next years bonus comes in get something nicer ;)

And I think 1st gear also can have syncro problems as I found out when test driving one for a mate.

At least it's a 2000 model mate which has the face lift. And not a bad colour just a shame about those wheels

So when is the first banger race meeting lol :whistling::razz:

After a year its getting tracked....finally a turbo AWD track car as I cant do it to the evo lee......212 screaming scooby ponies LMAO, it does handle well though tbh.

Millage makes no difference to them the latest date scooby i rebuilt was a 2004 wrx STi back in 2009 that had done less then 40K and bottom end went. If you are spanking it around i would recommend keeping a cardboard box in the boot you will have something to put the pieces in then

To elaborate on that mate, its more predictable with the back end than the IX but maybe thats me having more confidence to kick it out there in the poobaru, and turn in is pretty accurate
