boost problem again

i was driving back from work and my E4 was boosting fine in every gear, i dropped my mate off and heading home and now the car wont boost past 0.5 bar, any ideas wats wrong................ im stumped and confused.com/pissedoff

Sounds like you have a boost leak, does your gauge have negative on it too, has the vaccume pressure dropped. What controller are you running.

yeah on idle the boost pressure had dropped to -40 and i aint got a controller

hose come loose or a leak somewhere, check the usual - bov, pipes, actuator, etc

What did the idle pressure normally say, usually it sticks around -20

i made a mistake it idles about -40 when it was leaking it was -60, i chopped and changed a few sillicone pipes from BOV, actuator and turbo and its gone back up to -40. i'll take it for a run in a bit. if nothing has changed then i'll be selling an Evo 4 and i'll probably take 50p and a half eaten mars bar for it lol
