after work hours....

with a few nice days in a row i decided that after wotk, i should sort out a few little things with my car that were niggling me....

first was brake related.... i decided it was about time to re-lacquer my calipers as they were pink (although i haven't had time for rear calipers yet) and whilst i was at it i might aswell do the discs all round... here are some pics too....

and after

i also gave the wiper blades a spray black as they were looking worse for wear!!

once i had done that i decided that i was gonna do the bonnet vents....

and after....

one of the indicators had some water ingress so thought it was time for some new ones...

and i went for crystal clear with chrome bulbs

another thing bothering me was the grills on the front bumper, so they got a sprucing up too... and i got rid of the red on the intercooler from the previous owner....

and after....

changed the side repeaters from clear....

to smoked

and i finally managed to get my hands on some evo 5 boot garnishes rather than the 4's that were fitted... although it meant re-doing the fog light!!

much better imo...

a few more things to go until i am happy but its looking alot better!! just needs a good clean when i am done!!

i just got the lacquer from halfrauds. i didnt need to paint again but i did get rid of the old brembo and put new stickers on as they were peeling off anyway. they just cost a couple of quid from egay.
