So the cars going in for some new parts to be added ..
JMF Inlet manifold
JMF exhaust manifold
3" elbow and downpipe
AVCR fitted
Front Mount Intercooler
Exeedy double plate clutch as well just to be sure
then all remapped on the "quiet" side as not to stress things anymore than needed.
Im having s few more bits done but not power mods.
Im looking for just over 400/400 id be happy with that but want it good to drive aswell as having serious grunt.
Do people think im over doing it with the manifolds ?? My thinking was from my CTR days where the first mods are always to help engine breath better and handle more air, but at the same time I dont want to blow it up !!!
This is all part of a overall plan to forge and I know i should of gone forged first then bought other parts but its more "economical " for me to go this way as I got some bits cheap recently.
If its mapped safe then I dont think it will be a problem but I dont know enough about the Evo engine to be sure im not stressing other parts
