I didnt think you could get anti-lag on a standard ecu. Sounds good any way.

It can be mapped into standard ecu but its not that intense for driving theres just an odd bang every so often it can be mapped really intense on stock ecu but it would be on all the time and kill my turbo that why most use upgraded
Ecus with switchable maps ;)

Is it?

So antilag is when the car is moving??the same thing though they both keep the turbo spooling is it?

Correct all that you have is basically launch control which brings the rev limiter down to a lower set rpm whilst there is no speed or load

No mate my car can rev past 4500 rpm where it starts popping which makes it a little harder to launch cos I have to hold it at the right spot

Hmm i'm lost now then, so you don't have launch control then?

I'm lost too mate I rev her up to around 4.5k rpm until it's starts banging and the turbo spools up to about 1 bar and then dump the clutch but Its not foot to the floor I have to bring the revs up gradually and try hold it there.it's good enough for me anyway.

Launch control which is what I had mapped into my standard ecu and I beleive Geof has it as well is that you bury you foot into the floor and it will just rev to set revs, I think it was either 5k or 5.5k on mine I can't remember:confused:

Anyone else notice how he didn't even build up 0.5 bar of boost! Barely when over atmospheric pressure. :p @ evoaps, with yours what you are meant to do is increase the revs up to 500RPM below the static rev limit, then foot flat to the floor, the ECU will limit the revs to whatever your mapper set it to, and ALS will kick in.

Reason I say bring up gradually then foot to the floor is because if you just stamp on the throttle it can cause knock when it hits the limiter.
