astra vxr vx racing edition speeding

i hear through the grape vine something i find hard to believe.

as in title aparantly it was caught speeding at 183mph

speed cameras are outclocked at around 172mph arnt they and if he was going that fast how did they catch him?

Some cameras are capable of recording speeds a fair bit higher than that. As for whether its true, who knows.

not sure but they are front wheeled drives so u will get alot torque steer, and he would of been fighting to keep that bad boy straight!!

But a stage 3+ you can get between 300 and 310 bhp with 340+ lb ft torque so seems abit far fetched to me i would say at a guess 170 mph

Just depends on what tuning company u go with, but who knows??

i agree with everything you said there!! my mates scirocco has 300+ brake and the torque steer has been "fixed" on it. it still pulls like a bitch on the straights but doesnt have alot to offer top end and when it does get faster the torque steer gets really bad.....

yh i thought it was a bit too far fetched, i found out tonight the story goes that an unmarked car pulled him over and recorded his speed at 183.

i dont know of any police car capable of 183 so chatpoop.com

he lost his licence that night for speeding and im saying it was a more plausable speed of 120=130 and given the road he was on i doubt there is enough road to do 150+
