wud i beat a 03 rs focus??

would my evo v recently remapped roughly running 340-360bhp beat an rs focus with with stage one mods

he was afraid to race me today!!

just wondering anyone had any experience racing em??

Put it this way:

I had a tangle with a 2010 RS 500 a couple of weeks back when I was in a mates IV which was stock, apart from a VI ECU, Injectors and a HKS RS Direct Drive Induction Kit.

Only the fuelling had been done to make sure the mods were running right.

We came out of Birmingham Airport and the Middle Aged driver of the RS decided to have a go and kept trying it on on the exit route that leads to a Dual Carriageway.

My mate gave the nod and I let loose, the RS was already 5 car lengths ahead and the driver was trying to pull away.

I caught him quickly and we cam to a halt at a set of lights.

When they went green, he began to drive like Miss Daisy as he knew the Evo would have ate him again.

I have never had an RS try it on with me before this as I am fairly certain that all Focus RS owners know that they don't stand a chance.

You would humiliate the focus as he wouldn't be able to get the power down quick enough plus make sure your on his n/s otherwise he will torque steer into your passenger side:disgusted:

i was behind him and he pulled into the last garage on the edge of town just before the main road starts

i wanted to see what the crack was!

haha my mate has a focus st-3 running 320bhp and he couldnt get away from my standard 260, and he nearly had a slight incident with the torque steer haha but tried blaming his esp lol :S

The problem is that Ford just can't be asked with the 4 wheel drive system which is a real shame for the owners!!!

Mate of mine had a later current shape focus rs mods taking it to 420 brake 430ftlb torque and I went out in that and it was quite a weapon. Not much in it between that and my 450 bhp VII apart from loads of wheel spin off the round about lol

That kinda power going to the rear wheels would not be too bad for a bit of messing
