After a lot of searching on the net for the best tyres, I have just ordered a set of KUMHO KU36s.

I have no idea what they are like but from what I can gather they are supposed to be quite good.

My choice was made based on my driving style (ex rally driver),and I wanted something that offers maximum dry grip for fast road and track days. Did look at YOKOS but found the KUMHOs to be quite a bit cheaper.

Don't know if anyone here has already tested them but I will definitely give my opinion once fitted and tested.

Tyres are fitted.

Initial impressions are good.
Steering is very precise making the car feel much lighter on the front end.
Sidewalls are relatively soft which makes for a more comfortable ride on rough roads.
They heat up very quickly and seem to offer a lot of grip.
Road noise is present at cruising speed.

Only done 15miles but I'm more than happy. Took the car through a few hairpins and no tyre squeal or loss of adherence compared to the Dunlops which were mounted previously.

Will need to scrub them a little more and give them a proper test but so far so good.

Scrubbed them in today and all I can say is they are excellent. Even my my other half noticed the difference.

They warm up very quickly and stick well to the road. An excellent tyre

Just need to see what they'll be like once it heats up over here. Only had 28° in the sun and 24° in the shade.
