ive tried it all. wash x2 then clay,autoglym polish and then supernatural wax but in trying forrest rub next

the best way to apply it is witha da polisher

The best way by hand is to put a small amount of lp onto a foam application pad rubing in a circular motion until almost all the product has dissapeared working an area of a foot square at a time then buff off residue with a microfibre

when you say a polish on top what do you mean if you are using lp then you don't use polish Just give it a coat or three of wax

If you have lp lite there are no abbrasives so it masks defects rather than correct them.
If you have ordinary lp it has some abbrasives but nowhere near enough to correct a panel, again part corrects and masks defects, doesn't correct
If you were to use a polish it can be done by hand but it is hell of a lot of hard work and you would be better off buying a DA polisher anyway, cos by the time you have done your bonnet your uc'd
All your doing basically is prepping the panel for your chosen lsp (last stage protection) be it wax or sealant. The better the prep the better the shine

That's the same as mine geof, one with micro abrasives, I use that and a polish after but that's because I'm slightly strange!

Yeah thats ordinary lime prime with abbrasives. Just apply like I said with a foam pad buff off with mf towel then finish off with your wax then if you want a wetter looking shine give it a coat of detailing spray over the top

Nick I have some supernatural shampoo, some purple haze I think (drying agent) and some red mist. Wanna tell me how to use it properly cos I spent 4hrs on my VII with it all and it looked streaky as fook when the sunlight hit it

Jay and myself discovered that the RED MIST doesnt like heat all that much. Leaves streaks and marks on the paint as it drys to fast and was a bitch to buff out. The red mist tropical however didnt seem to have the same problem...

You will always get streaks the best way to dry the car is let soft water run from your hose so it sheets if you know what I mean. This method makes drying a breeze as there isn't as much standing water to mop up thenas your drying spray your drying agent (I prefer detailing spray) onto the panel as well to give a streak free finish
