Now then lads as most of you already know i have got problems with my standard throttle body and seem to have narrowed it down to the fast idle valve in the throttle body thanks to your help and suggestions:................So i have now just bought a S90 Racing throttle body question is my car as been remapped and is running around 350bhp will the car need remapping to accommodate the S90....I know the TPS and base idle have to be reset but i am not sure if it needs remapping....Any suggestions.????:hm::confused:

s90 is a bigger throttle body than std. So yes a remap may be required. Get fueling checked and mapped to suit. Had to make slight tweak just cause I changed my bov...

Never had mine mapped and that was having a ams inlet manifold and boomba racing tb fitted. I was told it wouldn't need it just the fueling checked:p

Any modification could need a tweak to the map. I could clearly notice the difference between the BOV's. The one it was mapped with was crisper and cleaner on the throttle :p
Even a slight mod could affect the performance altho not major and a check on fueling and adjustment if needed should be made .... Your mechanic obviously thought it wasn't much of a difference to warrant a remap/tweak :disgusted:

Unless the intake manifold has been machined out for the S90 I dont think you will see much change to the fuelling.

cheers for that lads, must admit the S90 throttle body spanked my backside today had to mod it to get it to fit correctly , reset the TPS and base idle then took it out for hour with evo scan plugged in nothing on the knock count through all the gears and through all the boost engine is running smooth and is running spot on, the throttle is so responsive .......
