mut monitor help !!!!

got the program working to read the data out and did 2 logs
1 stationary
1 driving down the road

question is how do i read the log files? open in notepad/word and its data thats not in line with columns

any way of contacting clanzer (no recent postings on his site) or andyf ? (gmail addresses are banned from his site and made a request 4 days ago with no answer?

i need to look at the data to see whats happening cos after a thrash it cuts out (over/under fueling?) when you come to a stop, but re-starts and idles ok after.

1998 rvr hyper-gear x3

td05 turbo fitted
BIg front mount ic
mushroom air filter
3 1/2 inch straight pipe s/s
evo 4 exhaust manifold
running 560 injectors (was 410's)

its a standard ecu at the mo but the questions are
1, am i going to kill it if i dont get it mapped?
2, is there less chance of killing it if we just stick the 560's in?
3, what is the ecu the same as?
4, what is the proceedure for flaashing to the ecu? i have various cables from the past any suggestions? what will work? the one that reads ok is some crappy thing i got off the bay a fews years back (wouldnt work with anything back then)

kwp2000
galletto 1260
gendan (vauxhall based, but still iso9141)
universal obd reader (can edit vendor etc to trick s/w)
rs232 based op-com cable runs com not usb (can usb it via my dakota serial hub)

is it pure obd to read log flash? or do i need connections from white socket next to the obd plug?
OR do i use eprom programmer on ic thats been removed?

Excel or open office should open the csv file and in correct format

need longer logs, o2 sensor looks wonky, you need to do some 3rd gear runs from 2500 to 7000 rpm

3. by the looks of the logs it might use a ecu similar to evo 5?
4. might be able to use ecuflash to remap it

on evos its close to the turbo so wouldnt worry

will get it down to R.S.I. first thing and have one fitted.

can you suggest anyone to custom map the damn thing? its drinking juice (makes your eyes water when stood behind it, and the gauge drops REALY quick)

drive it sensibly and its normal but if you give it some boot it cuts out when you stop (starts and idles ok on re-start)

thant because you fitted 560cc imo id be wary in using it as it not being mapped to 560 from 410cc could cause bore wash and kill the engine, how bad does it black smokes? what lead do you have?

i have various leads galletto, kwp2000+, gendan usb multi protocol, all sorts, nothing communicates with my car (1998 RVR sports gear x3) not even my snap-off ethos but i bought one a few years back that never did the job it was supposed to and it works!!!

didnt solder pin 1-4 or anything, so i am thinking that the lead that goes to the pin on the white (hyundia) connector is nothing special just a line thats not connected to obd on purpose (red-herring) and the line is already in the connector or just 12+ or gnd just makes it say hello lets talk deeper than obd
