Evo 4 GSR - ECU Location

Hi Guys,

Can anyone advise me where the above is located on my car - So that I can check what ECU I have whether its an E4 ECU or a later one??

also its near the door hinges if that helps.

hey bud yeah if you remove the glove box and look top left corner as disccontton said near door hinges.

If the ECU is metallic then it is a stock item.

If it is encased in black plastic then it is an uprated item.

El my vipec ecu is inside the original metal Mitsi box

Vipec manufacture boards that sit back in the original casing.

I suppose in most/all cases it is better to open the thing up then!
