Hi all, right just about to get all the bits together for my bottom end rebuild in the new year, getting an e5 crank this weekend. So for the piston's and rod's. Been oftened some e6 one's at a good price and some e7 one's at a good price. Would like e8 mr one's but the only one's some far are in the us. What i.ll like to no is the the safe power rating for evo piston and rod's. Im i right in thinking e6 plus piston's are good for a rod job? Just in case i want more power in the long run.(would prob get a new block for that tho)Or am i best waiting for some e8 one's or the one's in the us. Power goal in mo is 380-400 bhp. I want to get it right first time as on a bugget. Thanks for any help you have. O and yes im re building a 4 block,i no a e5 plus block or engine would be best but this way i can spread the cost. Thanks nick.

its all guestimates but I'd say 50horses better.

if your getting the rods/pistons changed then I would just go for uprated

not worth the hassle/cost otherwise.
