wheels dilemma!

im thinking of putting some new wheels on the car and just wondered if anyone is 100% on this?the front woul be 8 and a half x 18 with 235 40 18 and rear would be 9 and a half x 18 with 255 35 18.they are going on an evo 8,is it safe to do so with the diff and so on??

You can do it by why:confused:The whole idea of fitting larger wheels to the rear is for traction usually on RWD cars but why do it on a 4x4:confused:

as said, not a good idea as different diameter wheels front and back will knacker the transmission.
