Off out to a drift day

I'm off out for the day with some mates who do drifting.
Some of them do the drift sessions at castle Combe action days etc

One of my mate has just bought a stripped out 325 BMW already has bucket seats, harnesses and coilovers

So this week we sorted the hydrolic handbrake and took the rear diff out to get it welded up.

It's his first time out so will have some practicing to do but should be a fun day out

Anyone else done this ??

Never done it but it does look great for showboatingWent down to llandow last tear to watch a round of the BDC with Shayne Lynch from boyzone competing, was great to watch especially the 2 car battles

Well after getting up at 5:00 this morning we arrived at llandow circuit

The rain stopped when we arrived but somebody forgot to turn the heating on

I took a couple pics of the cars when we got there of the cars we traveled over with. Couple of them we are friends with anyway

Launch Motorsport were the organisers and had a couple cars out during the day althought the red tommi had to be towed back off track

been up since 5:00 so hanging :meh:

it was a good day yea, a handfull of members from bath and bristol scoobies were there aswell cos not only was it a drift day but it was a grip day too

was a little dissapointed with how the drift session was run cos they only let them drift in the bus stop area of the track then que up for another go which was quite boreing. although splitting drifters into expert and novice was good idea cos there would have been even more delays otherwise

passenger ride yea but not driving as i dont have the car for the job as launch motorsport found out when they tried drifting there tommi mak, it broke.

id recomend it as somewhere to go and try drifting and practice it but would possibly look to see where else is availibe
