delimiter probs mapping

took my car for a map recently.
and the mapper could'nt read the mph.
said the prob was delimiter wired near the speedo and not to the gearbox was the prob.

so went home and asked my mechanic where he had put it, and he said the gearbox???

any ideas why it is not reading the speed???

i have a iv with with a vi tommi mak ecu.

have you checked to see if the speed signal wire has been cut/removed? (pin 86)

I was thinking the same, can't say I have ever looked at it.
