irritating sound

Hello guyz..for 2days now ....been hearing some noise coming from the front.('am not sure if that is front wheels..tire rod or ball joints...can really hear it in lower speed...any ideas? And if it falls to those i mentioned how roughly will cost?

quite hard to diagnose something like that over the tinterweb mate, maybe get a vid up on youtube to give aus an idea.

your best bet is to jack the front of the car up then once the wheel is off the ground put 1 hand at the top of the wheel in the centre the other hand on the bottom rock wheel forwards with the top hand and pull back with the bottom

if there is any play in it then its your ball joint 9times out of ten

then try holding the wheel i hand left side in the centre other hand right side in the centre

rock wheel again if theres any play from this could be track rod end or wheel bearing

if u try both of these and either gives u play in the wheel then u have a problem

if its not something u think u can do yourself then consult a mechanic

does it happen in straight lines or when cornering what type of noise?

whurring,clicking or metal to metal?

does the wheel feel like its going to buckle under the car when turning?

hey stevo...i did the things you told me..'am a bit happy bcoz' it went perfectly okay..it's all negative (thank God) i had a slight idea..i think its the running board..it's a bit loose..i will just try to sort that one...and it might stop the friction..at least it's only a minor...thanks to your adviced.....and to sponners..thanks as well
