as above my rear diff has wound up solid . any ideas why they do it . I first no tied the osr tyre getting hot and smelling of rubber . after a few hard 3rd gear pulls whilst mapping . tgen when turning round it was getting tighter and tighter on full lock faward and reverse ..

bad luck mate but that what diffs do upon failure due to gears not working correct in diff
and yes it is worse when turning due to offside not doing right rotation as it will have to turn more
than inside so then you get drag or lock up when caput. New diff then :(

Hi mate i just fitted a new diff and it's exactly the same ?. head up arse now . the transfer box was new 2 months ago so can't see it being that so am going to try removing the ayc pump today to see if it's sticking and not letting the fluid return !! worth a go .

fixed ...... disconected the ayc pump and it's free . must be sticking valve not letting the fluid return so building up pressure on the clutch plates
