Hiya, my lad bought an evo 8 and I have the job of trying to put it right! He hasnt had it long but stuck a rod through the block. He bought a rebored block off ebay with forged pistons, but no main bearing cradle/caps. Ive been told that I cant use a cradle from another engine because they are line bored--is there any chance? What sort of tolerances are these blocks made to? I dont want to throw good money after bad, and it seems to me to make more sense buying a complete engine rather than build one up? Cheers chaps
