Hi . just bought a jmf screamer elbow for my 6. Jamie at evotune will be fitting it soon. Anybody know any decibel readings for them.any feedback would be good

It will sound like that on full chat I suppose. Always wanted straight thro exhaust but was concerned with noise all the time. So opted for screamer. Any positive feedback anyone.

I have one on mine with a full 3" blueflame with decat, normal driving is basically no different than before but sounds awesome on high/full boost, honestly not as loud as I had expected after all the comments you get on forums

Yeah bought it off rosssport 299 quid. Haven't had it fitted yet. Very soon. Real quality peice. I am a new member can't work out how to get pictures up! Will soon. Will let you know when I get it fitted mate.

im not sure, i never set this up, i just bought the parts and another fella fitted all, but the car hasnt been mapped in the 2 years of owning the car, i guess standard, but im wanting to do all the engine mods i can then map the car

Had mine on for a month and took it off, it gets tiresome and you fail trackside noise tests at most circuits.

Got my screamer fitted. Don't see what all the fuss about noise is. Car sounds just the same but when boot it ..wow awsome.kicks in about 15 to 22 psi. Also bonus got extra 5 bhp and torque!

The fuss is about the noise when you boot it, need to read the whole thread fella.

If you like it, good for you and I hope you never tire of it like I did. If you're planning a trackday it's advisable to remove it as you'll fail most trackside noise monitoring.
