How easy are they to fit ? I got one and won't to try fitting myself. Don't know a lot about dump valves. Been told it's one of the better ones to get. I have the e8 260. Cheers Craig :D

Very easy buddy, there lots of how to guides kicking about.

You will need a bung though if it's venting to atmosphere :D

Very very easy to do, if you have all the stock pipes no more than 10 minutes :)

Was just going to leave it as recirculating due to not having car re-mapped yet. It's the standard valve that's fitted just now. The plastic one just now. Believe they are no good.

I was in the same boat as you, fitted that same bov put I let it 50/50 and have zero issues with stalling etc.

That's good to know will try it at 50/50. How does it sound. Not had a chance to look it up on you tube. This rig I'm on does not allow it. :D

It's ok the 50/50 gives it that fresh feeling of only hearing the woosh sound on partial boost and won't get annoying quickly. The sound itself is pretty ok it's not high pitched or anything just about right.

Making it VTA won't affect the map. It can sometimes drop the revs and stall as you come to a standstill or junction, some cars are worse than others.

Just turned my SSQV into a recirc valve sound good but hasn't made any difference to performance etc and mine never had a stalling issue.

I'll leave it as is until I fancy a change :D

I will have a play around and see. I'm home a week Wednesday so have some time try the different settings. Will let you's know how I get on. Thanks for the information. Got some other goodies on there way. Could be a lot of questions asked lol.

I bought my e8 260 with a dump on. If you still have an air flow meter it will run rich and as said by DDS789 it tends to stall mostly when the engine is at running temp. Andy at ac speed tec told me that a recirc would be best off an e9 as there metal and dont leak like the plastic ones....so iv now got one of them :D

Will only run rich for the time it dumps the air Andy so no massive effect.

Your bang on with the metal recirc. They're probably the ultimate dumpvalve just a bit tame on noise for some.

I will give it a try and see what happens. If it only takes 10 min to fit no harm in changing it back over if not happy with it. Or turn it to full recurculating. Thanks for all the info.
