Evo 7 bottom end into a 4.

Right my evo 4 has developed high oil pressure due to no 4 piston being cracked as all evo do and a faulty ring. I have been offered an evo 7 bottom end which has spun a shell.
Question is can I use the 4 crank to replace with the faulty 7 one in the 7 block?
I know the 4 block is different to the Evo's but everything else should be fine.

Yes you can. It's the block that is different not the crank.

Thanks for the swift reply! just triple checking everything then when it comes to ordering new shells and that I just give them the reg the engine came out of.

Crank rods pistons all interchangeable between 1-9
Bearings/shells are different
1-4 fit
5-9 fit
