Rear lights blackout

Does anybody know how to or got a guide on blacking out the rear lights to look like the mr ones is it easy like the fronts cheers

It's do-able mate, not as easy as the fronts as the sealer used isn't as soft but if you go steady with a heat gun and a small blade you can split them, then its just a case of painting them and re-sealing I did it to a set of chrome ones a while ago

Thanks for the reply mate much appreciated what black did you use satin or matt I used satin on the front lights do you have to heat the lights up with the heat gun

I used satin mate, use a heat gun along the edge of the lights and use the blade between the lense and the back of the light and you'll feel it getting easier to slice through :smthumbup

I'm not sure mate, I don't know if the heat would be enough to soften the sealer, worth a go though won't do any harm
