Hi Guys and Girls,

Sorry i have been away for so long.... Work and other stuff always seems to get on top of everything these days. Any hoot.....

Had the car back now for about a month and everything is all good :)... Trouble is its now fast coming upto winter n i am looking to make some improvements over the winter months ready for next summer :)

Im going to upgrade my intercooler and pipes "any suggestions as to what would be best for my 6?"
Theres so many out there that all claim to "be the best"!!:wtf::confused:
Discs n Pads all round + Fluid "any suggestions"?
Poly bushes all round. "got these sourced already" Powerflex... Any good?

lastly - Looking at having some powder coating done, any near northants that anyone can recommend???

Any help would be greatly appreciated and most welcome Guys n Girls...:)

Thanks
Steve

Wouldn't bother with the cooler mate unless your fitting a bigger turbo or doing quite a bit of track work on a standard turbo.

Hard pipes are good cos they will help with airflow which is good but I'm unsure what will fit a vi. I have custom hardpipes I'm my car but no idea where they came from.

Brakes I and alot of other people will recommend pf 2 piece discs and and a set of XP8/10 pads up front and standard disc on the rear with some XP8 pads. I'm running 10's in the front and 8's in the rear which will give some serious stopping power. I nearly had to peel a mate off the dash the other day and it is possible to get the abs to kick in at 100mph :)

Hi Mate, Thankyou for your reply :)

My Evo6 is currently running with an Evo 9 turbo, Evo 9 Turbo Outlet Pipe, Tomei Race Cams, Ayc boost controller + a few other little mods. Just really struggling to find the right FMIC and Hard Pipe Kit to fit to it........

Regarding the Brakes, this is a massive help thankyou  And hope ya mate is ok...lol:)

Do you know anywhere that stocks these parts? Also, would these items fit my Brembo Calipers??

Thankyou for your help its much appreciated.

you still running standard internals or no cos for what you can get from a 9 turbo the probably a slightly larger 9 cooler is plenty good enough for the job and im sure someone else might come along to confirm this ???:)

yes mate xp8s and 10s are for standard discs and work as well as k sport and ap brake kits, all comes down to what you use the car for really ??

Hi Lee,

I use the car for purely for FUN!!!!! lol.... Just something to blast around in really!!! Got big future plans for it, just waiting to see what happens in the meantime as to how far i go...

I got uprated internals in the form of ARP conrods n bolts + a few other bits n bobs...:)

Eventually wanna go to big BHP, but want reliability as well... Santa Pod is on my doorstep...:) Would a 9 FMIC work better? I know a guy who can modify hard pipes and fitment to fit??

Any suggestions??

Thanks Mate,
Steve

So say the 9 cooler is slightly bigger so would help out. And it's a direct fit all you need to do is a slight mod to the bracket on top the cooler.

Ive got a 9 a 7 and a 4 cooler so will get the tape measure out tomorrow

Then you can just get it piped up suit. :)
