Evo 9 Wheel on an Evo 4 ?

I have a set of Evo 9 wheels that I would like to fit on my Evo 4.

Before I buy tyres for the Evo 9 wheels, can anyone advise me if they will fit / what size tyres I will need to buy / any wheel spacers required.

My Evo 4 has standard suspension and brakes.

I've heard that they should fit but on one can say for sure. Any help and advice would be mush appreciated.

My pal had an Evo 4 and changed to 17's when he fitted Brembos.
The wheels came with 215/?? tyres fitted so he had to buy new tyres, I think they were 205/?? to stop the rubbing, well I drove it and was in it with him round Knockhill and it still rubbed on every corner. It was lowered though.
The sad thing was he had cracking wheels on the car for a start, I think they were Volks and he sold them mega cheap to put on std. 5 wheels.

I had six wheels on my old e4 with 215 tyres and rubbed slightly can always get the arches rolled though

buddy i have e9 alloys on my e4. my tyres are 215 45 17 its lowered on tein springs and i have no issues what so ever.

just a pic of mine.. not the best but gives you the idea

cheers mate.. those wheels were only meant to be temporary while i got my e6 alloys refurbed.. but i choose to keep the e9 alloys on and my e6 ones are sat in the garage

So just to be sure guys Evo 9 alloys will fit straight on a Evo 4 without any spacers needed?

So they are the same fitment 5x114.3 and you didn't have to use spacers? Do you have Brembo brakes aswell dude?

yes buddy fit perfect over brembos no spacers needed and are same fitment!
